Color is complicated!! Not only are there the base colors (white, blue, green, beige...) but there are beautiful undertones that wonderfully add to the complexity of each color. This makes the right color choice for your home a stunning enhancement! But it also makes the wrong color choice a very expensive and time consuming headache. As complicated as color can be, we are experts and follow basic color rules in our color consultation process that creates beautiful color selections that will work in your space with your lighting and current color selections. We achieve this by scheduling an hour and a half Color Consultation with you in your project space. |

The Color Consultation $150
There are so many factors in choosing the right color for your project! Our process and attention to detail will help us to select the perfect color to enhance your space and create the right mood.
Step One: Getting to Know You and Your Space
The first stage of the process starts with a phone call! Give us a call so we can gather some basic information about your design project. We can then schedule an hour and a half long Color Consultation at the project site. Here's what the pre-consultation includes:
- Pre-Consultation Style Survey completed by you so your In Bloom Design Group designer can hone in on your specific style preferences.
- Pin Away! We request each client to create a project Board on Pinterest or an Idea Book on Houzz.com to start posting inspiration photos. This helps our Designers to prepare for the Color Consultation and make the most of that time.
- Set the Date! Go ahead and get your Color Consultation scheduled.
Step Two: Color Consultation at Your Project Site
There are so many factors that critically impact color selection. We consider colors in the space and surrounding spaces, colors of furniture and permanent fixtures such as appliances and flooring, amount of natural lighting, as well as your personal preferences and color sensitivity. Based on your survey answers and inspiration photos, we work together to select the right colors that will enhance the space and it's existing features. We can help you chose just one color, or work together to create a beautiful palette to compliment your space. At the end of the appointment, you will receive the color cards for the chosen colors as well as the confidence that your space will be beautifully enhanced by the selections.
