A Client's Journey: The Process to Turn Your Dreams into Reality
Step One: In Home Consultation - The Walk-Through $200
The first stage of the process starts with a phone call! Give us a call so we can gather some basic information about your design project. We can then schedule a Walk-Through of the home to get an idea of the project scope and goals. Here's what the In Home Consultation includes:
- Pre-Consultation Design Survey completed by you so your In Bloom Design Group designer can hone in on your specific style and goals
- Pin Away! We request each client to create a project Board on Pinterest or an Idea Book on Houzz.com to start posting inspiration photos. This helps our Designers to prepare for the In Home Consultation and make the most of that time.
- During our two hour consultation, we will sit down with you and discuss your project goals in detail and walk through the project space. This time is all about getting to know you! We want our design to enhance your life in functionality as well as aesthetically.
- Color Consultation
- We take measurements of each space needing transformation
- We provide our Project Proposal summarizing each project space and goals based on your budget and timeline. If your budget cannot accommodate the entire scope of the project at once, we will be happy to help you break it up into Phases!
Step Two: Concept Design and Project Planning Full Project Quoted in Design Proposal
Get excited! This is where we start constructing a plan to turn your dreams into reality! We take the measurements we collected during the consultation to construct floors plans for each project space, work with you to develop a beautiful color scheme, and begin mapping out our design on paper. This stage includes:
- A beautiful color palette for your design spaces
- Lovely design boards for each space to help you visualize the design for input and approval
- Initial furniture, fixture, hardware, wallpaper, window treatment sourcing for budget tracking and to help with design visualization
- If preferred, we can refer our list of trusted trades and vendors to help you stay on budget and within your timeline goals
Step Three: Bringing Your Design to Life
Almost there! During this phase of your project, we are sourcing all of the design features chosen during the Project Planning Phase. We have a list of vendors and retailers that we partner with to receive a trade discount. For full transparency, we pass this discount on to our clients! These discounts can go anywhere from 5-50% on items from accessories and furniture, to paint! This can save our clients a large amount of money and leaves more room in their budget to create the space they're dreaming of! While we are pulling the design pieces together, we go ahead and have our tradesmen start painting, tiling, putting up wallpaper, etc to get the space ready for the last phase - Design Implementation!
Step Four: Design Implementation
Ahhhh....this is it!! The final phase of your project! We schedule a day or two depending on the size of your project to begin moving in all of the finishing pieces and create your dream space! We pride ourselves in our attention to detail and go above and beyond to meet and exceed our client's expectations!
